Case Studies
Smart Energy GB
Smart Energy GB is the voice of the smart meter rollout. It’s their task to help everyone in Great Britain understand smart meters, the national rollout and how to use their new meters to get gas and electricity under control. We have been working with them since shortly after their inception in 2014. We have created and delivered a variety of professional support programmes for different levels and teams within the organisation. These include: Team Away-days, Personal Impact, Media, Presentation and Confidence Skills training and 1:1 coaching.
Jaguar Land Rover
We’re proud to be working with Britain’s greatest business success story (and now the UK’s largest motor manufacturer), as it transforms into a global automotive technology company. We help them maximise the personal impact and effectiveness of individuals from the most senior levels to graduate trainees through bespoke courses and 1:1 coaching. These include ambassadorial skills, powerful presentations and personal confidence training.
In addition we support Jaguar Land Rover’s global media relations programme across all departments and at all levels including Board Members. Our strategic approach ensures fundamental corporate Key Messages are aligned across all departments and are articulated in a lively, engaging, inspiring way that reflects the company’s success. We prepare teams and individuals to shine in all situations from glamorous car launches through to critical media questioning at international motorshows.
Cheshire Fire & Rescue
Taxpayers demand value for money from the public sector as never before – so public services not only have to justify their budgets but also have to promote their value and efficiency within their regions.
We deliver bespoke media skills training for all levels within Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service, whether that is firefighters who have just arrived at an incident – and have to deal with reporters as well as the emergency – or whether that is the Chief Fire Officer being questioned about budgets or controversial operational changes.
Aviva
We have worked with Aviva since 2003. By providing bespoke media training to senior and middle management, we support Aviva’s strategic objective of positioning itself as a thought leader and opinion former for the insurance sector.
We equip participants with practical skills for promoting Aviva’s brand values in the media – focusing particularly on professional/trade journals and national newspapers – and for dealing positively and productively with any negative media comment.
Merlin Entertainments
Merlin Entertainments is the second largest entertainments company in the world after Disney. Its brands include: Legoland, Madame Tussauds, The London Eye, London Dungeons and many others.
We’ve been working with Merlin since 2007; the company was growing so fast that uniformity of brand message became an imperative. Our tactical role is to provide very practical media training. Our strategic role is aimed at enabling every attraction, whether in Beijing or Blackpool, to understand and convey the same value-messages.
